How will I get to know if therapy is working or not?

My Restful Mind’s therapy services are entirely focused on the client’s needs – a discussion, a call out for help or an encounter to better the client’s well-being either physically or mentally.

The advice given to you will result in a positive change in your life indicating that therapy is indeed working. It is important to note that every now and then you will reveal sentiments that indicate how you feel, and this is all part and parcel of the entire procedure.

How is video therapy different from face to face therapy?

Studies have suggested that video guiding is in fact more compelling and powerful than one to one conversation. Plus, it can be done on the go without any time constraints.

However, it is also essential to note that advising is based entirely on individuals and each advice may vary from person to person. Some people may find video counselling more effective than others.

About our therapists

Who are the therapists? What are their qualifications?

Currently, My Restful Mind has a team of two therapists and one peer support mentor. You can review their profiles here:

Our Therapists

The subtleties differ from territory to region, however, for the most part, counsellors are required to be individuals from a common school of specialists. For instance, in Ontario, a large portion of our Counselors are Registered Psychotherapists or Registered Social Workers. Enrolled Psychotherapists are individuals from the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and must finish perceived alumni level psychotherapy programs.

Are they available 24 hours?

Our online video therapy sessions are available within 12 hours (12 pm- 12 am), you are also able to schedule a same-day booking. Flexible hours for our therapists mean flexible hours for you, from morning to night, and even on weekends.

How do I get matched with the right therapist?

Prior to booking your first session, you can use a small survey to choose your therapist.

You are not bound to follow the recommendation and can select a different therapist from the panel.

How will I communicate with my therapist?

After booking your session, you will shortly receive an email from your chosen therapist. The email will include further instructions including session access, technology support and a small questionnaire.
